How we started
Let us introduce ourselves, we are a father and daughter team, my name is Julia Whalen and my father is Ernst Neumann. Our original company name is Tame Birds, we originated in Lockport,IL. in 1980. We have since expanded to a pet store in Chicago,IL. and now with an on-line pet products company based in Lockport, IL.
While operating our business in Chicago we discovered a source of holistic dog foods and unique pet products not found in most everyday pet stores or super stores. We developed a demand for these unique products and realized the potential for an on-line market.
Our Philosophy
Our goal is to continue searching for unique, hard to find products, that promote safety, are beneficial, healthy, and will enhance and prolong the life of your pet. We believe in our products and use them on our own pets. We have seen first hand the difference these products can make in your pets life and would like to offer the rest of the world the success these products have brought us, BECAUSE WE CARE.
