South Antarctic Krill — looks like a small shrimp. Krill contains beta-carotene in the form of astazanthin, which helps the heart and circulation, and chitosen, which has the ability to absorb excess fat. It is used in many reducing diets. In a study (Christansen et al, 1994), krill was found to enhance disease resistance and boost survival rates. Because it is a good source of minerals, krill intensifies pigment.
SPINACH - Source of chlorophyll and vitamin C - every cell in the body contains chlorophyll, which transmits electricity and enables the cells to communicate with each other.
PERILLA OIL - This easy on the stomach oil contains high levels of omega 3 fatty acids. It is an excellent aid to weight loss. Patients with colitis, heart disease, breast and colon cancer are advised to use it by their doctors.
XYLITOL - Our star! Researchers in Finland gave chewing gum that contained xylitol to school children three times a day for five years. When the children were examined for tooth decay, not one child had decayed teeth. Then, for another five years, no xylitol was given in the gum. Again, not one cavity! The researchers concluded that the xylitol had some how imparted a permanent protection to the teeth. Astazanthin has been used to reverse macular degeneration of the eyes.
